Level UI – Gameplay
After you click the big, green GO button in the Getting Started section, you will get a short splash screen for the level being played. It shows what your goals are, and whether there is a Visitor. See more about Visitors in the Obstacles in Travel Crush Part 2 guide.
Game Board Interface
If you look around the board before you start breaking through obstacles, you’ll see a lot more than just the colorful tiles on the screen! The following features are there to help you complete each level.
Goals
This is what you need to do to complete the level, simple and easy and the points don’t matter!
Pro Tip: Read the 10 Tips to Getting Started in Travel Crush guide.
Don’t get stuck trying to remove Obstacles that aren’t listed in the Goals section. You could be wasting your precious moves.
Level # and Objective (if any)
Alongside the profile pic of Fennec, is the current level being played and an icon that shows the objective for the running event. It could be a color tile, Power-up, or something else that shows up with the tiles on the board. The number next to it shows you how many points you will get as long as the level is completed.
Moves
Keep your eyes on this number, because when it gets to 0 it is GAME OVER! Although, you can use Gold to keep on going!
Tips for when you’re running low on Moves:
- Use your Superboost with a few moves left if you don’t think you can complete the level.
- Don’t be scared to use a Hammer to remove a tricky Obstacle or a tile needed to move on.
Match 3 Board
Always pay attention to the whole board since Obstacles and Portals might make things especially tricky.
Hammer
The Hammer icon will show a number beside it if you have any in your inventory. Use this to break one tile or Obstacle without wasting a move.
Do you need more Hammers? You can get 1 every 8 hours by sharing a Tripstagram post, or you can find them in gifts from friends and event rewards!
Superboost
Each time you use a Power-up on the board, your Superboost meter will increase. When the ring has been completed, you can click on the thundercloud to remove 12% of the tiles on the board!
- Use this if you need to create more moves on the board.
- If you don’t use it, it will be activated after the level has been completed.
Didi (if shown)
Complete the Didi ring and when the level is complete, Didi will steal some Gems from a random player which will double your Gold won from that level.
- Feeling petty? Get revenge on players who have sent Didi after your Gems by clicking the ‘Revenge’ button before sending him off! 😉
Settings
Adjust the sound and vibration settings, get to the FAQ/Contact us page quickly, or end the level.
- Ending the level will count as a loss!
Using the UI
After poking around the various features in the game, you will get more acquainted with how to maximize your gameplay experience.
Whether you’re a completionist (EVERYTHING MUST BE DONE) and need to quickly restore Wonders or finish events, or you’re a quick ‘tap tap tap’ player who can’t get to the next level quick enough, Travel Crush has something for you in its menus.
If you know more about the User Interface, then you can find extra rewards to easily complete levels or figure out where you need to go to get that last bit done for your Passport stamps.
